What more could teens ask for on a hot summer night?
They can get all three and then some at Teen Dive-In Movie Nights at the Oro Valley Aquatic Center, 23 W. Calle Concordia, the fourth Saturday of every month through September, starting this weekend.
The event is limited to teens who reside in Oro Valley.
“Oro Valley’s changing demographic means there are now nearly as many residents under the age of 18 as there are over the age of 65,” said Misti Nowak, communications administrator for the town of Oro Valley. “It is critical that we keep our youth engaged by providing opportunities for recreation and enrichment.
“The Oro Valley Youth Advisory Council implemented the Dive-In Movie events as a way to bring young people together from various high schools to build connections and bridge the gaps in our community.”

Included in the event are two slices of pizza, a movie, water slide, diving boards and a soda toss.
All for free.
