Comedian Carlos Mencia brings his "At Close Range" tour to Casino del Sol's AVA Saturday.
It's Mencia's first Tucson show since selling out the AVA in 2006.
Mencia is hitting 80 cities through mid-December, bringing along sidekick Brad Williams to open his show.
If you haven't caught him in his numerous Tucson appearances, be forewarned: Mencia is not for the faint of heart. Mature themes dip into blue comedy and acerbic social commentary, delivered with a fast tongue oozing with foul language. And no one is safe. Mencia makes his mark as an equal-opportunity offender, slamming illegal immigrants on the same plane as President Bush.
He mimics the physically and mentally disadvantaged and shows no mercy for those resigned to working in fast food because they dropped out of school.

Mencia takes the stage at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30-$75 through www.avaconcerts.com.
