Before they take the stage at the AVA at Casino del Sol Resort and Casino Monday night, the legendary glam rock band Kiss will take to the links.
But you won't find Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley hoisting any golf clubs. They and their bandmates Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer will join with dozens of veterans from the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Tucson to unfurl a gigantic American flag.
The ceremony, to be held a couple hours before Kiss's 8 p.m. show Monday, kicks off the band's tour-wide "Roadie for A Day" promotion to honor American veterans for their service. The program is in partnership with Hiring Our Heroes and Vet Tix.
