The Pac-12's Colorado-Utah swing offers the threat of snow and high altitudes that drain stamina. The Washington trip makes for the trickiest travel, requiring more flights and bus rides than anywhere else.
And the state of Oregon might throw out some fog, rain, black ice and maybe even snow before you arrive to face the conference’s preseason favorite (Oregon) or fight off a potential letdown game in the creaky environs of OSU’s Gill Coliseum.
But with the Arizona Wildcats, logistics be damned. Their toughest two-game road trip in the league is actually the easiest one to reach: Los Angeles.
Under Sean Miller, who will bring the Wildcats in to face UCLA and USC this weekend, Arizona is a combined 4-8 in regular-season conference road swings to Southern California.
Their competition collectively appears as strong as ever.

On Saturday, the Wildcats will face the nation’s third-ranked team and the nation’s best offense in UCLA, which now features freshman point guard wizard Lonzo Ball dishing to offense talents at every position.
On Thursday, because UCLA is gaining so much attention this season, the Wildcats will face an almost as well-equipped USC team that is operating somewhat under the college basketball radar.
“L.A. is a difficult trip,” Miller said. “It always has been for Arizona and the reason is that both teams are very good.”
