Arts management and operations intern
This role is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in the business of art. Interns will be mentored by our gallery owner (Mariana de la Vega) and general manager and will be responsible for:
- Gallery operations: Learning the day-to-day operations of a professional gallery, including opening and closing procedures, managing art inventory, and processing sales.
- Event production: Assisting in the logistical production of all gallery events, including opening receptions, artist markets, and workshops.
- Curatorial support: Assisting with exhibition installation, artist communication, and handling artwork.
- Volunteer coordination: Helping the general manager coordinate and manage the gallery’s volunteer team.

Marketing and communications intern
This role is for students passionate about brand storytelling and digital media. Interns will work under the creative direction of our general manager to:
- Content creation: Design posters, social media graphics, and email newsletters based on the gallery’s official brand guide.
- Social media management: Execute the gallery’s content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook).
- Public relations: Assist in drafting press releases and reaching out to local media for event promotion.
- Community outreach: Engage with the digital and local community to promote gallery events and membership.
