Fox Tucson Theatre is getting into the Christmas spirit this weekend with a pair of holiday-themed shows.
• First up on Saturday is Tucson's perennial favorite Elvis tribute artist Robert Shaw in "Blue Christmas: A Holiday Salute to the King." Shaw and his Lonely Street Band will cover some of the King's most popular holiday songs from "Silver Bells" to "Blue Christmas." And you can expect he'll toss in a few non-holiday Elvis greats like "Hound Dog" and "All Shook Up."
Shaw is taking the show to two other Southern Arizona venues in the next week - Green Valley's Quail Creek on Dec. 7 and SaddleBrooke's DesertView Performing Arts Center on Dec. 8 - before traveling to Prescott's Elks Opera House Theater on Dec. 11; Phoenix's Arizona Broadway Theater on Dec. 12; and Yuma's Historic Yuma Theater Dec. 13. The final show will be Dec. 17 in Shaw's native Indiana, where he performs during the summer.
