"Celebrating the Organ"

A conference this weekend to honor Roy Johnson on the 10th anniversary of his death, featuring performances open to the public and sponsored by the University of Arizona and the American Guild of Organists, Southern Arizona Chapter.
● 8 p.m. Friday - Recital by Daniel Roth, titular organist at St. Sulpice in Paris. Holsclaw Hall in the UA Music Building, 1017 N. Olive Road, in the Fine Arts Complex. $11; discounts available.
● 7:45 p.m. Saturday - Recital by Pamela Decker, UA associate professor of organ and music theory. Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2331 E. Adams St. $10 donation suggested.
● 3 p.m. Sunday - Recital by Thomas Murray, organist and professor of music at Yale University. Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2450 E. Fort Lowell Road. $10 donation suggested.
