Three Tucson men were arrested during a June sting by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors targeting unlicensed individuals performing contracting work, authorities said.
The operation, that resulted in arrests in four counties within the state, was part of a nationwide sting operation, a news release from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors said.
With the assistance of the Pima County Sheriff's Department, Kevin Bennett, Michael Gail and Guadalupe Lopez were all arrested in Tucson on various charges.
Bennett, 47, was arrested June 18 for disorderly conduction and an outstanding warrant for failure to appear.
35-year-old Gail was arrested June 20 on a warrant for contracting without a license.
Lopez, 47, was arrested June 23, also on a warrant for contracting without a license.

In addition to the individuals that were arrested, the Registrar of Contractors also issued warnings and required compliance of 16 others who were found to be advertising without a license on Craigslist, business cards or private websites, the release said.
Law enforcement continues to investigate several more people discoverd during the investigation that are believed to be operating or advertising without a license.
