A Lambert Lane path for walking and jogging between North La Cañada Drive and West Pusch View Lane will be closed today for a prolonged period in Oro Valley.
Also, Northern Pipeline Construction crews will begin replacing gas mains and piping in Oro Valley's Tangerine Hills subdivision starting Sept. 14.
In the first project, a portion of the multiuse path could remain closed through the summer of 2013 while crews work on the Lambert Lane road widening, said Misti Nowak, an Oro Valley spokeswoman.
For safety concerns, walkers and joggers need to look for alternate routes, Nowak said.
In the second project, Northern Pipeline workers expect to complete the replacement of gas mains and piping in the subdivision in about two months. Residents will be notified before interruption of their service, said Nowak.
