A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of an 18-year-old man on Gates Pass Road.
Geoffrey Glenn Bird Jr., 21, was booked into the Pima County jail late Monday.
He is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Victor Ray Clayton, who was found dead near an SUV parked on a pullout just east of Tucson Mountain Park early Friday.
Two other suspects were arrested Sunday afternoon. Timothy Tysheen Morgan and Douglas Lee Eddington III, both 21, also are charged with first-degree murder. Detectives said Clayton fought with the suspects at the scene late Thursday night, and at least one of the suspects stabbed the teen.
The suspects haven't told detectives what they were fighting about, and detectives are still working to find a motive for the homicide, said Deputy Dawn Barkman, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman. No weapon has been recovered, she said.
