Q: About this business:
A: Curves is specially designed for women and features what would usually be an hour-and-a-half workout in just 30 minutes. You get both strength training and cardio benefits in our total body workout. We offer a new fitness technology, CurvesSmart. This personal-coaching system is designed to help people get the maximum benefits based on their specific fitness level. We also have free weight-management classes and sell clothing and nutritional supplements.

A: Megg and Chas received the 2009 Franchisee of the Year award for Region 3. This is basically the area west of the Mississippi River and includes Canada and Saipan.
Q: Who's your average customer?
A: We have members from their teens who work out with a family member to women in their 90s. We are designed for women of all ages who want a complete workout in a fast and friendly environment. Trainers work with all members at every visit.
Q: What other jobs have you had?
A: Chas works for the Department of Defense as an Army mechanical engineer.
Megg has had many jobs throughout her life. She is a certified personal trainer and worked as the manager of LA Weight Loss years ago. Before that she was the sales and business development manager at two Internet service providers in California.
Q: What led you to this business?
A: I have a tremendous desire to help women become the best they can be - to reach for their goals and achieve greatness.
Q: Where will your company be a year from now?
A: Having achieved the highest honor that Curves International offers, I wish to grow and help as many more women as possible to find the time to strengthen themselves.
