PHOENIX - Jan Brewer is preparing to let the world know what she thinks of the "liberal media" and others who do not see things her way.

The governor said she has a deal with Broadside Books, an arm of HarperCollins, to publish "Scorpions for Breakfast: My Fight Against Special Interests, Liberal Media, and Cynical Politicos to Secure America's Border." The title, Brewer said, was the idea of the publisher, likely designed to promote the idea "I'm tough."
Brewer said she has gotten requests for the last couple of years, since she became enmeshed in the immigration controversy, to write about it. "I kind of pushed back and pushed back and finally was convinced I have a story to tell," she said.
Brewer said some people offered to write the story for her. In the end, she decided to "give it a shot."

She would not discuss financial terms or whether she intends to donate any of the profits to a charity or to another cause.
A printing of 35,000 is anticipated for the 208-page book that will market for $26.99.
