High Heels for Hope Charity is hosting a bunco tournament from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch, 6801 N. Camino Verde, in Marana.
All proceeds from the event will benefit families and children in Marana and the surrounding area.
It costs $50 per person to play, or $15 to be a spectator. There will be prizes for first, second, and third place.
There will be food, a cash bar, goody bags, vendors and a silent auction.
Bunco is a parlor game played in teams with three dice. A winning throw in bunco is to throw three of a kind of a specified number. Bunco dates back to the late 1800s and was played by groups of women, schoolchildren and couples.
