The Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library has opened a second bookstore.
The Friends Book Shoppe Too opened last week at the southwest corner of North La Cañada Drive and West Lambert Lane.
The new shop, open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday, stocks used books, including rare and collectible titles.
The Friends' other used bookstore, which opened in 2006, is in the Oro Valley Public Library, 1305 W. Naranja Drive.
The Friends group also hosts two annual book sales at the library.
More than 20,000 books will be available at the spring sale, which is March 30 through April 2. The other book sale is in the fall.
Donations are always needed to keep the shelves stocked.
"We need more donations of books from the community," said JoAnn Dumas, Friends' director of book operations. "It's the biggest recycling project around."

Books can be dropped off at either store.
Proceeds from the book stores and annual book sales go to the Oro Valley Public Library.
The Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library donates around $100,000 to the library annually, Dumas said.
