Question:
Which Northwest Side school serves the most students?
Answer:
With an enrollment of 2,238, Mountain View High, 3901 W. Linda Vista, has more students than any other school on the Northwest Side.
The second-largest Northwest Side school is Flowing Wells, 3725 N. Flowing Wells Road, which had 1,945 students at the start of the school year.
Principal Karyn Blair said that over the past six years the school has started out with more than 1,900 students. It ended last year with 1,779, the result of students moving out of the district or to Amphi's alternative school.
Canyon Del Oro, 25 W. Calle Concordia, was once the largest in the Northwest, with more than 3,100 students, but when the Amphitheater School District opened Ironwood Ridge, 2475 W. Naranja Drive, in 2001 to accommodate Oro Valley growth, enrollment dropped.

Amphi High, 125 W. Yavapai Road, the third and oldest school in its district, has 1,666 students. Marana High, 12000 W. Emigh Road, is just a bit larger with 1,735 students.
