Tucson police are asking the public for help in identifying a serial bank robber who held up three banks this month.
In each incident, the man showed a note to the teller demanding money and threatening harm, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
The robberies were at:
• Pima Federal Credit Union, 3730 N. Stone Avenue, today.
• Wells Fargo, 555 N. Wilmot Road, on Aug. 17.
• Vantage West Credit Union, 801 E. Speedway, on Aug. 10.
Surveillance video captured today’s incident on tape. The suspect is a white man believed to be 40 to 50 years old.
He is about 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, and weighs between 160 to 180 pounds. He has gray curly hair, and stubble on his face, Widmer said.

During the earlier robberies, he had significant facial hair, said Widmer.
Anyone with information about the man’s identity or location is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
