Starting Friday, Oct. 10, sandbag stations will be set up around Pima County due to possible heavy rainfall and flooding predicted by the National Weather Service this weekend. The remnants of Tropical Storm Priscilla could reach the area.
Sandbags will be available at these locations:
• Arivaca: 16091 W. Universal Ranch Road, Arivaca Volunteer Fire Department
• Mount Lemmon: E. Carter Canyon Road and N. Sabino Canyon Parkway
• Catalina/Oro Valley: 3885 E. Golder Ranch Drive, Golder Ranch Fire District
• Sahuarita: E. Dawson Road and S. Country Club Road
• Tucson: 1313 S. Mission Road, Pima County Maintenance Yard

County residents are invited to fill up no more than 20 sandbags per vehicle. It is recommended that residents bring a shovel and gloves to assemble the sandbags.
Residents can also sign up to receive emergency alerts at MyAlerts.pima.gov.
