Once again, the Star runs an angry ranting "Star Opinion" denouncing the separation of children from their parent(s) who were apprehended illegally entering the country. They want the Obama approach, release them into the public and so they can appear in Immigration Court later. But the dirty little secret is that most will NOT! According to DHS, 70% of those Central Americans released under Obama's policies NEVER showed for scheduled appointments.
About 1 million aliens released from Border Patrol or ICE custody with Notices to Appear have absconded into the wind. In other words, most cannot be trusted! Pres. Trump and USDOJ AG Sessions know this, thus the current policy of "zero tolerance." It’s clear that the Editorial Department of the Star is run by "blame America first" leftist Democrats. Calling being born in America "plain good fortune" and indicting us for the many ills in the world.
