How cynical our politicians are! How little they respect our intelligence. How avaricious/self-serving they think we are (like them perhaps). How easily duped they think we can be by their half-truths/lies. They must think we are incapable of making rational decisions.
If they are not, then why do they bombard us with their pejorative, vile and viciously attacking advertisements? Repeating messages not just once during a commercial break, but over and over again throughout the day…morning, afternoon, and night. Littering our street corners with their signs. Is this really why we make political contributions?
Don’t let your vote be bought by the candidate with the largest campaign coffers and advertising budget. Vote for freedom, community, and altruism. Return the United States to being not just great again, but also humane and compassionate again.
