Can you imagine a state education chief saying this?........“Once upon a time people said the Earth was flat and it couldn’t possibly be round,” Douglas said. “I don’t know.”
Well, stop the presses! Yes she did! School is for learning Science! Creationism and biblical studies are for home and faith based extracurricular offerings. Denying science or limiting the scope of the information learned about our human evolution should not be brought into public schools. I taught my children to study and learn many things while they grew up. Such as evolution , human biology, compassion and responsibility were among the topics discussed.
What's the next thing Diane Douglas wants out of school rooms? Really! When is the next election?! I will make sure my vote is counted.
