I am currently serving as a Clinical Nurse Manager at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System, where I am dedicated to fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and compassionate, Veteran-centered care. Throughout my career, I have been committed to elevating nursing practice, supporting professional growth, and leading teams with integrity, empathy, and purpose. One of my key areas of focus for practice improvement has been CAUTI prevention, where I have worked with an amazing team to implement evidence-based strategies, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and empower staff through education and real-time coaching. These efforts have contributed to improved outcomes and enhanced patient safety.

I am passionate about mentoring emerging nurses, championing quality improvement initiatives, and creating an environment where every team member feels valued and equipped to provide exceptional care. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and new baby boy, as well as being outdoors and enjoying nature.
