Arizona is still in the race to land top uncommitted 2018 point guard and four-star prospect, Brandon Williams.
Williams, a former UA commit from Encino, California, announced on Twitter his final three schools in a video. Among Arizona, Gonzaga and Oregon are also the schools that made the cut.

Williams reopened his recruitment in early March following the "current climate" surrounding the program's involvement in college basketball's pay-for-play scandal investigated by the FBI.

“I have to take a step back and reevaluate my commitment. Playing for the University of Arizona has already been a childhood dream of mine. With the current climate surrounding U of A and by signing (nonbinding) scholarship papers, I have the opportunity to explore other options,” Williams said in March.
Since Williams' decommitment, the point guard received an offer from Oregon and had an in-home visit with head coach Dana Altman. Williams also took an unofficial visit to Arizona State in early April, and had a in-home visit with Gonzaga head coach Mark Few on Monday.
According to 247Sports composite rankings, Oregon currently has the No. 3 recruiting class in the nation, first in the Pac-12. If Williams chooses Oregon, he would join five-star prospects Bol Bol and Louis King.
The Wildcats currently have the No. 48 class with four-star shooting guard Devonaire Doutrive and Belgian hybrid forward Omar Thielemans. The only point guard on roster for the 2018-19 season is soon-to-be sophomore Alex Barcello.
