Played in Wrigley Field the next day … the first man to win the College World Series as a player (Minnesota, 1956) and a coach (the UA, 1976, 1980, 1986) … former senior advisor to USA Baseball ... instructor with major-league baseball's international outreach program, helping to promote the game overseas.
