The Reno Aces' starting lineup in the series opener, a game that spanned two days because of a rain delay Monday, featured eight hitters with a combined 2,105 career major-league at-bats.
Tucson trotted out a trio of players - Jeremy Hermida, Nick Hundley and Andy Parrino - who have combined for 3,349 career at-bats at the big-league level.
If there's one thing manager Terry Kennedy's lineup has right now, it's experience.
"We have a lot of guys down here right now that have gotten a taste of the big leagues," said Kennedy before the first of two games between the Aces and Padres on Tuesday at Kino Stadium. "It's nice to have. They all obviously know how to play the game the right way."
Hundley and Parrino are in Tucson to try to improve their approach at the plate, and Hermida is with the Triple-A team on a major-league rehab assignment.

Here's a closer look at the three players and what they bring to the Padres. All statistics are through Monday.
Jeremy Hermida, right fielder
With Tucson: Thirteen games, .250 avg, one extra-base hit, four RBIs
Big-league career: 2,012 at-bats, 65 HRs, 250 RBIs, 517 hits
Big-league background: Hermida made his major-league debut for the Florida Marlins in 2005 as a 21-year-old. He spent five seasons with the Marlins and since has played for four teams the past three seasons. He has never appeared in the postseason.
The future: The Padres signed Hermida to a minor-league contract before the season, but he made the opening day roster because the Padres had some holes to fill due to injuries. He played 13 games for the Padres this season before being sidelined.
Quotable: "Herm is a real professional. He's done a great job for us. He hasn't hit the way he'd like, but that will come because he's a hitter, and that's what he does." - Kennedy
Nick Hundley, catcher
With Tucson: Nine games, .219 avg, two extra-base hits, five RBIs
Big-league career: 1,201 at-bats, 33 HRs, 148 RBIs, 289 hits
Big-league background: Hundley first appeared in the major leagues in 2008 when he was 24. He split time behind the plate in his first four seasons but was supposed to be the go-to man this year. Instead, he was sent to Tucson to improve on his .166 batting average.
The future: He suffered a hamstring injury Tuesday night and was placed on the seven-day disabled list. Hundley is owed $6million the next two seasons and would seem to be a part of San Diego's plan going forward. However, former Tucson star Yasmani Grandal is thriving in San Diego and threatening to take playing time from Hundley when he makes it back.
Quotable: "He's working on things and fighting to improve. It's just going to take some time to see where it goes." - Kennedy
Andy Parrino, shortstop
With Tucson: 19 games, .343 avg., eight doubles, 12 RBIs
Big-league career: 136 at-bats, 24 hits, seven RBIs
Big-league background: The least experienced of the three, Parrino is hopeful he's at the beginning of his career. He was called up for the first time last season and played in 24 games. He made the club out of spring training and played in 40 games before suffering an injury. After the setback, there wasn't room for him on the active roster and he was optioned to Tucson.
The future: Parrino, 26, is hoping to carve out a role as a utility man at the big-league level. He brings versatility in the infield and can play multiple spots. Kennedy has also been playing him in left field to add even more diversity.
Quotable: "They wanted him to work on cutting down the strikeouts, and he's doing that. He's doing exactly what he should be doing here." -Kennedy
