Saying he was blown away by coach Shaka Smart and his Texas staff, Tulane transfer Dylan Osetkowski chose the Longhorns today before taking a scheduled visit to Arizona this weekend.
Happy to say that I will be continuing my basketball career at Texas University! Thanks to everyone!! #HookEm 🤘🏼🐂 pic.twitter.com/ucIiSJtpfK

Osetkowski, who averaged 11.3 points and 8.3 rebounds for Tulane last season, will have to sit out next season under NCAA transfer rules. But UA has at least three more scholarships to offer for next season, so could easily give one or two to players who are sitting out.

Terrance Ferguson is now expected to make his announcement on Wednesday, the first day of the spring signing period, and the sentiment is trending clearly in Arizona's favor.
24/7 Sports said UA's class will be ranked No. 3 if it pulls in Ferguson, which would be the sixth straight year the Wildcats have assembled a Top 5 class.
If Ferguson announces and sends in a signed letter-of-intent, UA will be able to publicly announce his addition along with Kobi Simmons and Rawle Alkins (assuming they also submit LOIs on Wednesday).
Looks like Jerod Haase will add former UA aide Adam Cohen to his Stanford staff.
