There's a flurry of recruiting action going on right now, of course, as the no-contact period ended.
Quickly, Matt Dudek was on the road to Hawaii for a quick trip checking in with offensive lineman Michael Eletise. The four-star offensive lineman's commintment is still strong, though, no matter what.
The bigger news....
First, Louisiana defensive back Clifford Chattman (highlight video embedded at the bottom of this post) announced on Twitter that he'd be visiting Arizona this weekend. That's HUGE for the Wildcats. Anytime they can get someone on campus, they tend to have a shot. Chattman is a 6-foot-5 defensive back, a former LSU commit with recent offers from USC, South Carolina and Texas A&M. He's scheduled to visit A&M later this month.
Calvin Magee is Arizona's recruiting in Louisiana, and that connection should help — Chattman's head coach at McDonogh 35 is Wayne Reese. Why does that matter? Well, Reese coached Magee at Booker T. Washington in New Orleans in the 1970s. Magee, Arizona's offensive coordinator, went on to play at Southern University and the NFL as a tight end.

Receivers coach Tony Dews was out visiting Lackawanna (Pa.) College linebacker Kapri Doucet, who recently de-committed from the Wildcats, but it appears Arizona is still in on him. Oklahoma assistant — and ex-UA interim head coach Tim Kish — was also visiting Doucet.

ATH Jessie Britt, a Western Kentucky commit, will also visit Arizona this weekend, and LB Emmanuel Beal, Doucet's teammate at Lackawanna, announced that Arizona was in his top three, along with Louisville and New Mexico.
