Dan Hicks
• Olympics: Barcelona 1992, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012
• Local connection: Tucson native, Sabino High School and UA graduate
• Known for: Hicks, 50, is a longtime sportscaster for NBC Sports. One of his main duties has been covering both the Winter and Summer Games in addition to covering golf for the network. During the Summer Olympics, Hicks specializes in doing play-by-play for swimming, which he will do this summer in London alongside gold medalist Rowdy Gaines. Aside from Olympic and golf coverage, Hicks has also done play-by-play on the network's coverage of the NBA and NFL.

• Current: Hicks is now in his 21st year of working with NBC Sports and 13th year as the play-by-play commentator for golf, which he considers to be his best. Last fall, he was inducted into Sabino's first Hall of Fame class. Hicks is married to ESPN anchor Hannah Storm, has three daughters and lives in Connecticut.
