Tucson's Bailey Bish watches her tee shot on the 13th hole during the final round of the 2026 U.S. Adaptive Open at Woodmont Country Club (South Course) in Rockville, Md., on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Bish, who won the event in 2024, tied Sunyoung Kim of Korea for second place. They finished six strokes behind Kim Moore of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who repeated as the women’s champion. Moore and Bish were the only women to shoot under 80 in all three rounds.
“It was rough out there,” Bish said after the round. “I started out, hole one, with two shanks. Just off to the right. Rough way to start.
“Second hole, I hit a drive (into) the right rough, which was tough; managed to save a par there.
“And then from there I just kind of got in my groove and kept playing my game. Didn't think about the past anymore and one shot at a time worked my way in.”
