A 58-year-old man was taken to an Omaha hospital Tuesday morning in critical condition after a shooting near 46th Street and Redman Avenue.
Police and Omaha Fire Department medical personnel were called to the area about 10:20 a.m. for reports of multiple gunshots, a police spokesman said. Officers located Arthur Brown Jr. of Omaha suffering from a gunshot wound.
Brown was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center with an gunshot wound to his leg that is not thought to be life threatening, police said. Police have not announced any arrests.
