These are the team of women who helped me navigate a breast cancer diagnosis this summer. Their thoughtfulness and care was unparalleled, from the moment that I got that first scary phone call asking me to come back for a close-up mammogram: “I know this isn’t the phone call that you wanted to get today.” Their capacity for empathy and perspective-taking was immediately on display and was consistent. EVERY TIME I went into the office, they made me laugh. I’m through the process now, and as I look back, I feel immense gratitude to have had this joyful team have my back!
