Investigators found what could be considered a "suicide note" in the home of missing resort executive, a Pima County Sheriff's Department official said.
At a news briefing Monday afternoon, Deputy Chief Chris Nanos said things were found inside the home of Ann Pardo, who has been missing since last Tuesday, that indicated that she has been going through some personal problems that may have led to depression.
Pardo, 62, who is a director of life management at Canyon Ranch, was reported missing from her Catalina Foothills area home Tuesday night. She was last seen by her husband that morning at about 8:30 a.m.
She is said to have left her home without her keys or cellphone.
A ground and air search of a half-mile radius last Wednesday did not lead to any clues. A crew of about 50 people searched a desert area on the north side of Tucson until about 2 p.m., when the search was called off.Â

Since then, the sheriff's department has continued pursuing leads, including checking her bank and travel records, according to Nanos. An inquiry with the Tucson International Airport indicated that she has not flown out.Â
Based on indications of depression, there is a possibility she could have harmed herself, he said, though the search is ongoing and every tip would be considered. There was no indication of any "foul play."
"The goal here is to get Ms. Pardo back," Nanos said.Â
The sheriff's department is still seeking the public's help in locating Pardo, he said. Every call thus far have been checked and the department would continue to do so, he added.
"I don't care if it's a shoe print or an article of clothing or whatever it is," he said.Â
The department urged the public with any information about Pardo's whereabouts to call 911 or 88-CRIME.Â
