A second teen has been arrested in the shooting death of a Tucson man during what court records say was a gun-sale meetup.
Derek Walter Poff, 19, was arrested Friday at his home in Sierra Vista on suspicion of first-degree murder, armed robbery and discharging a firearm within city limits, the Tucson Police Department said in a news release Sunday.
Poff is the second suspect arrested in the killing of Eddie Lopez Jr., 33, who was shot to death in the front yard of his Tucson home in the 2000 block of South Sahuara Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. Aug. 17, court records show.
Angel Francisco Valenzuela, 18, was previously arrested at his home in Sierra Vista. Â
Court documents show Valenzuela is alleged to have used a stolen gun to kill Lopez after the two met up for Valenzuela to buy a handgun from Lopez.

During questioning, Valenzuela told officers he and another person, unnamed in the court records, had planned in advance to rob Lopez, the documents say.
The documents say Valenzuela told police that after arriving in front of Lopez's house, he handed Lopez the money. While counting the money, Lopez made a remark that Valenzuela perceived as "a slight," and he shot Lopez, Valenzuela told police, according to the court records.
Poff and Valenzuela are being held in the Pima County jail, with bond set at $1 million for each. Â
