The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said two men are believed to have robbed two QuikMart stores at knife-point minutes apart early Thursday.
Two men robbed the stores at 4280 East Benson Highway and 900 West Roger Road at 2:23 a.m. and at 2:56 a.m., the sheriff’s department said.
They threatened the store clerks with knives and demanded money and cigarettes. The fled from the robberies on foot.
The first robber was described as about 5-feet, 10-inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a white T-shirt with black printing on the front, construction gloves and a baseball hat
The other robber was described as about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black T-shirt with white printing and black pants. He also wore construction gloves and a baseball hat.
