There's a chance the Christmas holiday in Tucson could be a bit soggy — really.
The week will start off as dry and warmer than usual as it has been here for the past several days, the National Weather Service in Tucson said Monday in its forecast.
But on Christmas Eve, there's a 24 percent chance of rain here.
And by Christmas Day, the chance of rain rises to 43 percent, the forecast shows.
Temperatures Monday and Tuesday will range from 10 to 20 degrees above normal.
But a storm system will then begin to impact Southeast Arizona late Tuesday through Thursday.
The system will result in a chance for light rain showers, slightly cooler temperatures and occasionally breezy conditions, the weather service says.
