Letter: "I don't know"

If you ever wondered how our political situation became so divisive – how two sides can see things so totally differently – recent news coverage offers a clue. This past weekend, every major television and print news organization reported that Donald Trump said, “I don’t know” when asked if he’s required to uphold the Constitution -- except for Fox News. By omitting coverage of this story, Fox followers are totally in the dark. They have no way to know that Trump either has serious memory problems or was outright lying when he said at his inauguration: “I, Donald John Trump, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States, and I will, to the best of my ability preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
