By ceding all power to the quintessential American carnival barker, the most prolific liar in American presidential history, House and Senate Republicans have handed Trump’s pal Putin a big gift. At the same time, Trump plunged a dagger into the back of Ukraine as it defends itself against the Russian invasion.
Trump recently announced his deal to buy diesel fuel from Putin, putting money in Russia’s dictator's pocket. The deal also lifts sanctions against Russia for six months. The first shipment of Russian diesel fuel is less than what the U.S. uses in a single day.
