The Pima College women’s soccer team continued its dominant start to the season, blasting visiting Chandler-Gilbert CC 6-0 on Saturday night to improve to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the ACCAC.
Alyssa Allan and Hazel Ramos each scored twice for the No. 7-ranked Aztecs, and Ava Dagnino and Karina Tapia also found the net.
The Aztecs outshot the Coyotes 27-2 in posting their fifth shutout in six games.
Pima beat No. 13 Phoenix College 2-0 on Tuesday at home as Yajaira Cervantes scored in the 42nd minute and Ryan McCauley notched a goal in the 63rd. Aztecs goalkeeper Angelina Moraga had eight saves in posting the shutout. It was Pima’s first home win over Phoenix in five years.
This week, the Aztecs host GateWay CC at 8 p.m. Tuesday and visit Glendale CC at 7:45 p.m. Saturday.

Men’s soccer
Pima bounced back from its first loss of the year by topping visiting Chandler-Gilbert 5-0 on Saturday.
Sean Ribadeneira scored twice for the No. 5 Aztecs (3-1, 2-1), and Noah Marshman, Dante Di Leva and Alek Peral also had goals.
Tuesday, the Aztecs dropped a 1-0 decision to No. 1 Phoenix. The Bears’ Angel Villalba scored the game’s only goal with five minutes left to help hand Pima its first home loss since Oct. 25, 2023. Pima goalkeeper Tommaso Leonardi had eight saves as the Aztecs were outshot 9-3.
Pima hosts GateWay CC at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday and visits Glendale CC at 7:45 p.m. Saturday.
Volleyball
Pima dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 18 Mesa CC on Friday, losing 25-22, 25-19, 25-21 in Tucson.
Alexia Hutchens had eight kills and Estelle Fetsis added 12 digs for the Aztecs (5-5, 1-1).
Pima next visits Scottsdale CC at 7 p.m. Friday.
