Just as Arizona added two important pieces to its team in recent days with the hiring of Donte' Williams and Marcel Yates to its coaching staff, its incoming recruiting class suffered yet another subtraction on Monday night.
DE Jake Burton, from Granite Hills (El Cajon, Calif.), in a couple of tweets announced that he would be flipping his commitment from Arizona to UCLA. The 3-star defensive end, listed at 6-foot-6 and 235 pounds, had committed to the Wildcats back in July, picking UA over offers from 13 other schools, including UCLA.
With Burton's de-commitment, Arizona's 2016 class is now down to 13 players.
Burton isn't the first UA commit to switch to UCLA, either, as QB Devon Modster — who backed out of his verbal to Arizona on New Year's Eve — announced he'd be going to UCLA on Monday, too.

There have been five decommitments from this year's class since the New Year — Burton, Modster, LB Kapri Doucet, ATH Sean Riley and RB Tyliek Raynor, although Doucet was only committed to Arizona for a few days.
I wish to thank the Arizona coaches for their support. However, my family and I decided to pursue other options.
