Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham became a daddy for the second round earlier this month when his nutritionist wife Audrey gave birth to twin boys.
They named them James Jeffrey and Jack Steve and the boys, born Oct. 11 — a day before the Dunhams celebrated their third wedding anniversary — join Dunham's three grown daughters by a previous marriage.
The babies will surely find their way into Dunham's "Perfectly Unbalanced" show, which pulls into Tucson Arena, 260 S. Church Ave., March 13. He's bringing along his unruly puppet crew and we're pretty confident the curmudgeonly Walter will have a word or two on Dunham's latest familial development. Can't you hear him berating Dunham, 53, for being silly enough to want to start down that fatherhood trail so late in life.

And Peanut will cock his purple Woozle head back and let loose one of those trademark cackles after cracking wise about Dunham's middle-of-the-night-diaper-change bags. He'll tell us that you can see those wrinkles on Dunham's face from the back of the arena and more than one of us will strain for a look-see.
Dunham has been a regular to Tucson stages since his comedy club days of the late 1990s. He's continued to include us in his tours — we were one of the first audiences to be introduced to his controversial Middle East terrorist character Achmed in 2007 — when his career broke into the stratosphere about a decade ago.
Tickets for the March 13 show are $46.50 plus fees and go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday through ticketmaster.com
