Students, parents and other members of the University of Arizona community will have a chance to weigh in on a proposed $726 tuition increase during a forum tonight.
The proposal made by UA President Robert Shelton would raise in-state resident tuition and mandatory fees to $6,257 and meet the maximum increase allowed by the Arizona Board of Regents. Returning students would pay $20 less.
Current tuition and fees at the University of Arizona are $5,531 annually, not including $11 in optional fees.
