There has been a love/ hate relationship between LE and Federal since the 1920s (Prohibition). ATF/FBI was hated because Waco (resulting in numerous deaths- including children). IRS and ATF for enforcing against illegal alcohol (moonshine). See Brown vs the Board of Education desegregation of schools in the South in the 1950s and 60s. Most support the federal effort over the past 120 years. Sometimes they don't like the tactics being used. Trust is a big issue – both sides.
Trump and Noem should propose a new federal gun bill similar to CA. It prohibits any weapons to be present at any protest nationwide (enacted after the Kyle Rittenhouse incident). Biggest threat to ICE is the open carry cell phone (camera). Suggest buying more cell phones (camera) to document the incidents. In the last incident, it was the posting of several cell phone photos and videos which allowed the world to view the incident (before the spin). Thank you for posting the incident quickly.
