Two letters to the editor on 3/25/2025 attacking the thoughtful viewpoint of Stuart Brody need to be answered. It's one thing to criticize Netanyahu and his coalition, and it's quite different attacking the National Liberation movement of the Jewish people, i.e. Zionism. Their attack on Zionism is the equivalent of attacking the US Constitution rather than a Biden or Trump administration policy. Half of the world's Jews live in Israel, so an attack on Zionism is indeed antisemitic. The World Jewish Congress, Anti-Defamation League, and American Jewish Committee agree on this point. I suggest they stifle their anti-Zionist propaganda, and critique a policy of Israel or its government, not the Jewish people's movement of self-determination.
