Letter: Parasites unite

Elon Musk reposted a meme stating that anyone who took federal funds was a "parasite." Here is a partial list of groups in this country that get federal monies: schools; veterans; farmers; homeowners after catastrophes through FEMA; scientists who create cures; small businesses; hospitals; researchers; social security recipients; people with disabilities; the elderly; people with catastrophic diseases; Medicare recipients; students seeking a better life; and so on. Well, fellow parasites, it's time to join together and stand up for each other. Before Musk's cuts become irreversible and fatal, speak up. Call our Congressional representatives and those representatives who serve on Congressional committees that can stop Musk. Our voices count and our Congressional representatives rely on our votes. We are not parasites and to be characterized as such speaks volumes about the man in charge of cutting costs.
