The best antidote for MagaPalooza Syndrome is a commonsense candidate who strives to serve the greater good. Kevin Volk is that candidate. When I first voted for Volk two years ago, I expected him to be good, but he has surpassed expectations. I’m impressed by his openness to listen to both sides of every issue and his attempts to bridge differences and find common ground.
Voters in Legislative District 17 have the opportunity to upgrade our representation across the board by also electing the exceptional Holly Lyon for the State House and the outstanding Edgar Soto for the State Senate. But it all starts with reelecting the anchor, Kevin Volk. He has set a new standard and more than deserves to be returned to the statehouse.
Volk combines pragmatism, competence and compassion; qualities we have never needed more. Even some Republicans have praised Volk for engaging in substantive conversations and avoiding partisan rancor. Kevin Volk has earned your vote!
