Letter: Election Workers

Over the years I have voted in elections in person in Maryland, Virginia, Arizona, and now by mail in Arizona. I always appreciated the work career election officials and volunteer poll workers do. Without their dedication to the free and fair election process, I fear our Democracy would be in peril. I am ashamed to say I never took the time to thank them properly for the valuable work they do. And I never offered my time and service in the valuable cause they support. After this election, I will commit to do whatever I can to contribute however I can to ensure the career and volunteer election workers have the support and resources they need to the most important job in the democratic process. We should all do the same.
