In the last five years Elon Musk has received over $38 BILLION in government contracts, interest free loans, subsidies (free money), and tax incentives (more free money). He has also received untold BILLIONS for undisclosed contracts due to “national security.” This is tax payer’s money.
In the past two years Musk has donated over $400 million to republican PACs used to defeat democratic candidates. He is donating millions more to this year’s midterms.
Apparently, we American taxpayers are paying millions of dollars to help republicans win elections. Musk gets billions from Trump’s governmental departments and then he donates millions back to republican PACs. What a cushy deal. There are several others, easily documented, with these “contracts for donations” deals.
Thousands of middle American democrats could spend, maybe, $25-$50, to support a candidate, but one man, who has received billions from our government, can donate 400 million on his own to help republicans.
