Arizona signee Caleb Holt finished second in Rivals' final class of 2026 player rankings, behind only Kansas-bound forward Tyran Stokes.
The 6-5 Holt, an Alabama product now playing at Florida's Prolific Prep, rates No. 3 in 247's latest rankings after helping USA Basketball win the U19 World Cup gold last summer, becoming co-MVP of the McDonald's All-American game and MVP of the prestigious Hoop Summit game while playing for USA against a World team.
Guard Caleb Holt led USA with 20 points and seven rebounds in its 120-64 win over New Zealand in a FIBA U19 World Cup semifinal game on July 5, 2025.
Holt is expected to take over the starting shooting guard spot vacated by Brayden Burries, who left UA as a projected NBA Draft lottery pick next month. Early projections have Holt as a Top 5 pick in the 2027 NBA Draft.

"If I were to choose one word to describe Caleb Holt I would be forced to choose between floor-raiser or disruptor," Rivals analyst Jamie Shaw wrote. "I say floor-raiser because of his ability to dribble, shoot, and pass his team into advantages. He does not force things and he remains consistent in his ability to make a play within the flow of the offense.
"I say the word disruptor because of his presence on the defensive end of the floor. He has excellent anticipation, able to guard on ball or get aggressively into the passing lanes. There is a lot to like with what Holt brings to winning basketball.”
