The Arizona women’s basketball team will open Big 12 play against BYU in December and conclude its conference slate against rival Arizona State in February.
Those are some of the highlights of the 2026-27 schedule, which was released in full Thursday.
The Wildcats’ league opener against the Cougars is set for Saturday, Dec. 19, at McKale Center, three days after the nonconference finale vs. Oakland. Arizona will then take a break for Christmas before resuming play at Oklahoma State on Wednesday, Dec. 30.
The Wildcats’ first matchup with the Sun Devils is set for Saturday, Jan. 30, in Tempe. The rematch will take place Feb. 27 or 28 in Tucson. The date will be determined following television selections and the finalization of the men's basketball schedule.

The Big 12 Tournament begins the following Wednesday, March 3, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Only a handful of game times were released by the Big 12 on Thursday. The rest will be announced at a later date, along with TV/streaming assignments.
Arizona has two exhibition games at McKale, Oct. 22 and 27, before opening the season against Stanford on Nov. 2 in Las Vegas. The home opener is Nov. 8 vs. Iona.
