A popular program for freshmen to jump-start their college careers at the University of Arizona is growing.
And to sustain the expansion, the UA has started charging more for the New Start summer program, which acclimates freshmen to college life.
"Even as the program grows, we're trying to focus on that individual student," said coordinator Mary Frances Kuper. The program includes more personal attention in areas like tutoring.
