Please be advised that the Trump administration and its antisemitism task force are using the Jewish people as a weapon to go after universities and other institutions not in their good graces. As far as I know, the Jewish people have not been consulted about whether we agreed with these actions, supposedly undertaken for our benefit. At least I haven’t been. Jews value education and debate above all, not the stifling of it as the Trump administration is trying to do. Do you really think Trump cares about Jews and antisemitism? How can someone who claims that Neo-Nazis and White Nationalists are “very fine people” ever be trusted? Open your eyes — that was just one red flag among many. Put simply, Donald Trump is no friend of the Jews — watch how fast his righteous criticism of antisemitism is discarded once it is no longer of use to him.
